We’re excited to introduce the newest member of our Charm City Medicus family — our Clinical Director, Kayla Tegeler, PharmD, RPh! Kayla received her BS in Public Health Sciences and Kinesiology from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst and her Doctorate of Pharmacy from the University of Maryland, Baltimore School of Pharmacy. Kayla will be offering free, on-site consultations for new and returning medical cannabis patients, and will provide recommendations for the best strains and products to treat your individual symptoms and ailments.

Kayla’s interest in the cannabis industry stems from the ongoing national opioid crisis, as well as the increasing evidence supporting the use of cannabis in treating chronic pain, MS, seizuer disorders, and other debilitating diseases. She finds helping patients decrease their dependence on opioids and benzodiazepines (two of the most addicting and deadly classes of medication) one of the most rewarding parts of her job. She’s excited to help CCM patients manage their chronic pain, seizure disorders, depression, and anxiety without the negative side effects of pharmaceutical drugs. Kayla is also anxiously awaiting the release of edible products in Maryland, which will give geriatric and pediatric patients a larger range of products to choose from.

If you’d like to schedule a consultation with Kayla, head over to our calendar to choose your preferred date and time. New CCM patients that schedule a consultation will receive a 20% discount on their first purchase at our dispensary.

Welcome to Charm City Medicus, Kayla! Our patients are so lucky to have you!
